Effect of Misalignment of Axes in Double-Sided Weld on Stresses Distribution in Butt Welded Joints

چکیده
Abstract An analytical method for calculation of local stresses in double-sided butt welded joints at misalignment welds’ axes is developed. The applicable thin-gauge plates with different geometry welds on the face and root sides under tensile load. In given example, it was shown that reach their maximum value zone transition from weld to base metal which farther axis weld. results calculations are good agreement obtained using finite element method.
